Lankton was a woman who was struck with a form of tuberculosis at the age of sixteen, which kept her bedridden for the next 62 years of her life. The CDV on the left, by S. Bigelow of Collinsville (4" x 2. 5", blank back, excellent condition) is considered rare. CDV on the right, of her house, (4" x 2. 5") has a backmark of Gutekunst, Philadelphia
